Order Under Section 163 of BNSS, 2023: Mandatory Police Registration of Migrant Labourers, Tenants, Vendors, and Hotel Guests in District Kullu

Official order issued by the District Magistrate, Kullu, under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, making police verification and registration mandatory for all outside/migrant labourers, domestic helps, tenants, and street vendors across the district to maintain law, order, and public safety. Hotel, homestay, and guesthouse owners must also compulsorily record identity proofs and mobile numbers of all staying guests. Any violation is punishable under Section 223 of BNS, 2023.
